- Special Session 3 -
AI-Driven Visual Understanding and Intelligent Interpretation of Multimedia & Remote Sensing Data
● Please submit via: Electronic Submission System (Please choose Special Session 3)
- This special session aims to bring together cutting-edge research at the intersection of artificial intelligence, visual computing, and geospatial data analytics, addressing both general multimedia understanding and domain-specific remote sensing interpretation. With the explosive growth of visual data from diverse sources—including surveillance cameras, satellites, drones, and mobile devices—there is an urgent need for intelligent algorithms capable of robust perception, semantic understanding, and knowledge discovery across scales and modalities. This session invites contributions on fundamental advances in computer vision, machine learning, and image/signal processing, as well as their applications in smart city surveillance, autonomous systems, environmental monitoring, and digital twins. Topics of interest span from novel neural architectures and representation learning to efficient inference and generalization under limited labels or changing environments. By fostering dialogue between the multimedia and remote sensing communities, this session aspires to stimulate cross-fertilization of ideas and drive the development of next-generation visual intelligence systems.
